Let me start off by saying that in the middle of standing over these two on their bed, snapping away, I looked out of the window to see the neighbor staring into my soul with the most perverted look on his face. This man would NOT look away until I finally pointed my camera at him and took a photo. Unfortunately, it was too blown out for recovery so you’ll just have to take my word for it. So glad I live in the country.
I may have started a pet portrait business after this, as I think I got a photo of every animal they own, sans one. The moment I walked into Sierra and Luke’s house, they made me feel so welcome and felt like old friends. Luke I recognized immediately from many hours spent at the Monterey in Cheney with my boys after football practices this past fall. He pointed at me and said “thai sauce”, because I’m a memorable pain in the arse and am always asking for extra/hassling them for the recipe (unsuccessfully so far). Sierra had these amazing little instant photos someone took of them right at the moment he popped the question so you know I took a photo of some photos for that one. I had an amazing time with these two, they gave me creative freedom and a relaxed afternoon and we even spent some time in the diminishing snow supply of Spokane.
We (well not me, but I did in spirit) drank all the tequila and ran around the house like toddlers.
Also, if you’ve been following, you know I’m going through a mini movie making phase, and in that spirit, I made them a little black and white Love Film to commemorate their engagement. Check out my time with these two.
