One again, I was fortunate enough to shoot a San Miguel de Allende Wedding. If I could, I would shoot at least 2 weddings a year in SMA (check out my last San Miguel de Allende Wedding here). I am fortunate enough to have been to a lot of places in this world and this city is one of the very few I would return to over and over again and never tire of. The culture, the people, the art, the aesthetic, the fucking food. The doorways!! oh oh oh, the doorways. Every inch of this city is stellar, truly.

When I go destination for weddings, I try to find time to do a photo tour of the city for myself and my couple. Its a nice way to set the scene for a linear storyline, which is always my objective when photographing weddings. With every corner being postcard-potential, I have to try not to take hundreds every time I visit SMA.

Liz and Jason are two of the most incredible human souls. In addition to being all around good human beings, Liz did one of the most unique things I’ve ever seen and wore a wedding dress that was worn by both her mother and her grandmother. As someone who values legacy, I thought this was an incredibly touching gesture to honor the women in her family.

Liz+Jason- youre beautiful inside and out. Thank you for the letting me attend the best party of the year.

This entire wedding edited with my personal preset pack- On Dark Sheet Presets, Clean 1 and BW 3.
